Bowls Opening Times
Opening Hours
The club will normally be open from 12:00 to 18:00 Monday to Thursday and 12:00 to 21:00 on Friday. Bank Holidays and special occasions may differ, so please check. Outside these hours members are welcome to use the rinks, but note that clubhouse facilities may not be open. However, please note the following:
Pre-Noon Bowling
Following consultation with the Green Consultant on January 5, 2025, Pre-Noon Bowling is now permitted. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are excluded due to green maintenance responsibilities.
2. Any dew or frost must be removed from the green prior to bowling commencement. Failure to do so may result in damage to the green.
Regular reviews will be conducted, and pre-noon availability may be partially or fully restricted based on conditions.
Additional Information:
* Tuesday and Thursday morning play is available from 11:00 AM by arrangement with the key holders, subject to the specified green procedures.
* The green is currently demonstrating sufficient resilience to allow for the removal of protective mats. This matter will be reviewed again, contingent upon conditions.
